The Washington Nationals, winners of the the 2019 World Series, are now the seventh Major League Baseball (MLB) team to introduce PITCHBASE to their daily baseball operations.

The Washington Nationals have praised the ease of use of the PITCHBASE UX, the quality of video playback and the ability to access it anytime, anywhere on any device, and have decided to introduce PITCHBASE to their operations from the 2023 season.
The team’s players, staff and front-office personnel can now use PITCHBASE to analyze the footage anytime, anywhere.

Providing value throughout the whole organization
With PITCHBASE it is incredibly easy for us to distribute to players and staff on iPad, iPhone and Android, which many of our players and staff use; We have never had such accessibility to video before. The fact that PITCHBASE runs so smoothly, no matter the platform and for our staff to instantly understand how to view their content in PITCHBASE is huge.

Having video overlays through Sync Video and advanced tracking metrics for every pitch lets us really analyze plays anywhere, be it directly after the game, mid-flight, in the hotel. No matter the situation we can continue to improve and strategize.

With PITCHBASE, the Nationals are able to integrate MLB and Minor League Baseball (MiLB) analysis operations, which previously operated separately. This integration of operations will allow the Washington Nationals to perform the same video analysis in MiLB as they do in MLB, and will provide a high degree of synergy for the team as a whole.

PITCHBASE is useful throughout our whole organization
The introduction of PITCHBASE has been great for us. It has allowed easy access to game and non-game video for both players and coaches, as well as other departments within player development. From coaches to S&C(※1) and Medical, video is seamlessly shared helping departments work together more efficiently.

One of the biggest and most helpful adaptations PITCHBASE brings to our daily MLB and MiLB operations comes in the area of advanced video. The Dynamic Playlists(※2) feature has already and will continue to cut out hours of extra work that can now be used more efficiently to help coaches/players prepare for games.
